What you can expect from SpeedExact, and what we expect in return.
Using the service
SpeedExact is offered free of charge for personal and professional diagnostics. You may run tests as often as you reasonably need, but automated or scripted abuse of the measurement endpoints is not permitted.
Accuracy
A speed test measures the path between your device and a measurement server at one moment in time. Results are indicative and depend on Wi-Fi conditions, device capability, VPNs, routing and network load. They are not a guarantee of the capacity your provider sells you.
Data usage
Running a test transfers real data, which counts against metered or mobile plans. You are responsible for any charges your carrier applies.
Content
Articles and guides are provided for general information. Follow manufacturer instructions for your own hardware, and treat configuration changes as your own responsibility.
Liability
The service is provided as is, without warranties. To the extent permitted by law, SpeedExact is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the site or reliance on its measurements.
Changes
These terms may be updated as the service evolves. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. This text is maintained by the SpeedExact team and is not legal advice.
